Awesome 3000 Youth Fun Run & Fundraiser

The Awesome 3000 is a youth fun-run for all ages Pre-K through High School. Since 1983 the Awesome 3000 has been a staple in the Salem-Keizer Community, bringing friends and family together in support of our Salem-Keizer School District; its students, staff, and teachers. The 2025 Awesome 3000 brought together nearly 2300 youth participants from our surrounding communities. Funds generated from participant fees are then used to fund grants through the Salem-Keizer School Fund, which benefit the Salem-Keizer School District.

2026 Awesome 3000 Art Contest

Submissions are now open for the 2026 Awesome 3000 art contest. This contest is open to all Salem-Keizer area students, with the winning design becoming the official logo design for the 2026 Awesome 3000! Click the button below to learn more on the contest submission page.

Impact

The proceeds from the 2023 Awesome 3000 raised $45,000, which will go directly to the Salem-Keizer Schools Fund held by the United Community Foundation. So far, over $31,200 has been distributed to over 33 award recipients throughout the Salem-Keizer School District. The awarded funds are benefitting students, teachers, and program across the district!
